On January 7, 2022, Soror Stephanie Shepard was promoted to Americas Customer Technical Service (CTS) as their new Director. She is responsible for the Americas CTS team as well as global Product Integrity. With this monumental 3-step promotion comes the esteemed honor of Soror Shepard being one of the only three female Directors in the entire company. She is also currently the only Black Director (out of a total of 31 Directors) in the entire company made up of approximately 2,000 employees worldwide. With nearly 25 years of experience with Afton, Soror Shepard has held roles in Research & Development, Sales, Marketing, and CTS. Since 2019, she has led the Americas Industrial CTS team. She has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Averett University.
